Can reviews even be trusted anymore? We know critic reviews are bought and paid for, but it seems like user reviews are also faked as well, granted, I think user reviews are still a better metric for judging entertainment than critic reviews, but, like everything else on the internet, just assume its fake until proven otherwise.
I just look at a trailer, and my sense of whether or not a game or movie will be good, based on the trailer, is pretty accurate, but its been honed for 20 years.
Whatever you do, DO NOT, see it/buy it for yourself. You're giving the company your money, and if the movie/game sucked, there's no way you can get it back (unless you play it on steam). The best way, is to wait, gauge the response, read the reviews, watch gameplay trailers, and please, do not, under any circumstances, pre order anything.
