The camaraderie, travel, culture, and daily variety, i.e. the good experiences far exceeds the bad experiences I've had in the Air Force, so its difficult for me to relate to the above tweet, and I see variants of this concept a lot. It's become a trope at this point: the corporate 9-5'r stuck in the rat race fantasizing about a more exhilarating life. Lately, "masculinity gurus" have used this trope to shame people . The "masculinity gurus" are a little right, like not even half right, maybe an 1/8th right. If people are fantasizing about living a more exhilarating life, they should do something exhilarating. What they shouldn't do is quit their jobs and following the masculinity gurus advice. What they should do is stop workin...
