Some people find a role model and aspire to be said role model. They might be working everyday to put themselves on the same level as their role model, but until you actually ARE on the same level, you cannot expect the same treatment. This kind of ties in to my imitation post. When I started boxing, James Toney was my role model, but he was the a champion with a huge fan base. I was a nobody. Just because I imitated him doesn’t mean I should expect the same treatment. “BUT MINDSET!!” yea, I get it, mindset is important, but that’s putting the cart before the horse.
