Grew up watching HBO Boxing religiously. Grew up idolizing and emulating the likes of Jim Lampley. The gold standard. So, having him on the show yesterday was a massive honor. It matters!). What even can we point to that signified the end of our youth? Is there one? I think it's a bit difficult because millennials have so many cultures, whereas Lampley's generation, the Boomers, there wasn't so much. Ali was a world wide icon for the Boomers back then, but for the millennials, who would that be? It's going to depend on your culture. For instance, Anime heads might consider the permanent death of Goku, Vegeta, or Naruto, as the end of their youth. More on this later.
