Todays Military Summed Up in One Picture

If this doesn't define today's military in one picture I don't know what does. On the left, is a man who accomplished something of substance, while the man on the right failed but was still recognized, praised, and awarded more.

I can't tell you how many times I've seen hard working airmen, who are actually good at their jobs, get passed over for awards, promotion statements, and recognition, for someone who's terrible at their job, but "plays the game" by volunteering during work hours and engaging in "high visibility activities" that have nothing to do with the primary mission. 

Its ridiculous. 

Not only that, but when these people screw up, they rarely if ever get in any type of trouble, while the people doing their job get thrown to the wolves.

I think this comes to people in power, the paper pushing bureaucrats, who promote people just like them, which will slowly turn most positions of power into paper pushing bureaucrats. It’s almost a form of tribalism.

This form of tribalism has a lot to do with the western AAA game dev’s and why we see such a fundamental shift in what we’re used to seeing.

This isn’t about whether or not DEI is needed (that’s a whole different post for a whole different day) rather this post is about whether or not DEI in this iteration actually helps minorities in the gaming space. The whole SBI/Gamergate 2 drama made me realize something, and apparently, I've been circling around this realization for quite some time , but I didn't fully realize it until the whole SBI/Gamergate 2 drama kicked off. Since its inception, DEI and SJW's have made it worse for minorities in the creative business. The Osmosis Effect

  In boxing, the osmosis effect is when a less experienced or less skilled boxer gets better by training with or competing against a more experienced or more skilled boxer. The better the opposing boxer, the faster the less experienced boxer levels up.  I’ve known about this concept forever, but it can be applied to anything. Writing, fishing, photography; and the most important aspect of the osmosis effect is the more experience person doesn’t even have to instruct the less experienced one. Zuckerberg Rebrand

Back in 2017, there were rumors Zuckerberg was making a presidential run. Some say there were rumors while others claim he was only 'testing the waters.' I think he was testing the waters, but either way, those rumors went away as fast as they appeared. Lately, clips of Zuckerberg training in combat sports started popping up , and with him being a billionaire who owns Facebook it’s safe to assume he's aware of how popular red pill content and people like Andrew Tate have become. I believe he's "training" in combat sports in an attempt to come across as more relatable with young men and the right wing...or I could be wrong and he's just doing this because he enjoys it. If he's training because he likes it, then more power to him and more people should follow his example.
