In this video, Marcus is failing to distinguish between the art and the artist, and before I go any further I want to say he's absolutely correct. As Christians, we should be apart from the world and we should not be engaging in fornication, drunkenness' (you can drink) and drugs. You can't have your cake and eat it too. He is 100% correct. However, that is a critique of the artist, but the art and the artist are two different things. I don't know if he's implicitly or directly saying Christians shouldn't listen to Maverick City and Dante Bowe because they don't live perfect lives, but it sure seems that way.
