Bureaucracy On Display
This video, no, the entire situation, shows how utterly incapable bureaucracy at organizations at effectively handling a situation. This woman was defending herself, and rather than come to her defense, she was fired and blacklisted from further employment, for defending herself. I learned this while in the Air Force, but entities, after they grow to a certain size, start becoming more concerned with optics and other irrelevant concepts rather than making the best possible decision. This situation is more evidence these companies do not care about anything other than their bottom line and their image, and that includes the military. Don't risk anything for these companies, and instead, you should give to them what they give to you, which is just below the required by the law.
